Darius Rucker's New Album, Charleston, SC 1966, Out

Darius Rucker's new album, Charleston, SC 1966, lands in stores this week featuring his latest single, "Come Back Song." The project's title is a nod to Radney Foster's 1992 release, Del Rio, Texas 1959.  Darius says, "That record was really a light-switch record. I've said that before, but it was a record that really turned on to me the fact that I really, that I could do that. I really could sing this."

Charleston is, of course, Darius's birthplace and current home. He says, "That city is my favorite place in the world. There's no place else that I could live or want to live." Darius describes the sound of Charleston, SC 1966 as a "South Carolina country record." The album also includes a duet with Brad Paisley on the track "I Don't Care."
