Carrie Underwood has scored three consecutive wins as Female Vocalist of the Year, starting in 2006.  Last year, in addition to winning that category, Carrie also took home the coveted Entertainer of the Year trophy and performed her hit "I Told You So" in a very memorable red dress.  This year, she has a total of six nominations and if she wins Entertainer of the Year again, it will be the first time a female has won the award twice in the history of the Academy of Country Music.
