Bill Anderson

Whisperin' Bill Anderson's signature song is one that he wrote himself. "Still" hit the top in 1963. While he was having his own hits throughout the 1960s and 1970s, he was also writing hits for others like Connie Smith's "Once a Day." Although he is no longer a fixture on the charts as a vocalist, Bill makes regular appearances as a songwriter with big hits like Brad Paisley's 2004 hit "Whiskey Lullaby" with Alison Krauss.
