The Man In Black had his very own television variety show on ABC titled The Johnny Cash Show in which The Statler Brothers, the Carter Family and Carl Perkins took part. Johnny Cash made appearances in Little House on the Prairie, Columbo, the 1985 television mini-series North and South and Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman.
