Dolly Parton

Beloved country icon Dolly Parton began her film career with a starring role in 1980's Nine to Five which co-starred Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin and Dabney Coleman. According to Fonda's autobiography, Dolly had memorized the entire script before shooting began. She went on to roles in 1984's Rhinestone with Sylvester Stallone, 1992's Straight Talk with James Woods and - who can forget 1989's Steel Magnolias.
