Ol' Blue Eyes was an incredibly gifted singer, but the lesser known fact is that he was a talented actor to boot. His performance in From Here to Eternity earned him the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor, and he would also feature in a number of musicals, including Guys and Dolls, High Society, Pal Joey and On The Town. He also earned an Oscar nomination for Best Actor for his role in The Man with the Golden Arm.
