Dolly Parton isn't just an important figure in country music, she is an American icon. A smart business woman, she built her brand from the ground up as she was smart enough to hold onto her own copyrights for her influential songs which include "I Will Always Love You," one of the most successful songs ever. Dolly has also ventured into the world of acting, playing roles in movies like Nine to Five and Steel Magnolias. She also began her own theme park Dollywood which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year and is known for her philanthropic efforts including her Imagination Library.
