BE A ROCK 92.3 INTERN!

Want to work long hours with no pay? Of course you do!

ROCK 92.3 New Orleans is currently looking for college students to become FALL and WINTER interns in programming/mornings. The position is unpaid, but the experience is valuable. Interns will help out with programming, promotions and the morning show.  At the same time, the intern will be learning about the basic structure of a radio station and how all the departments interact.  It's a good way to get first hand experience, make contacts and learn of other opportunities at Citadel Broadcasting.

Requirements:
Interns must be enrolled in an accredited local college or university, for the specific purpose of gaining college credits toward a degree. Because the position is unpaid, interns must be receiving college credit for their time spent in this internship program. Business and Mass Communication majors such as Public Relations, Advertising and Broadcasting will benefit more from this internship, but all majors are welcomed to apply. Interns must be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.

Responsibilities:
Interns are to help out with various office work within the department. Duties may range from live events, filing, distributing forms, writing promos, booking guests and arranging supplies for events or remotes. Hours may range 6am-6pm and also may include weekend events.
