John Lennon's 70th Birthday

Grammy Museum Opening John Lennon Exhibit Next Month
The Grammy Museum in Los Angeles will open a special John Lennon exhibit to the public on October 4th, five days before fans celebrate what would've been his 70th birthday. The exhibit will display his guitars, his eyeglasses, his drawings, the costume he wore for the cover of the iconic Beatles album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, and other artifacts.
Lennon's widow, Yoko Ono, is scheduled to perform in L.A. with her Plastic Ono Band along with special guests on October 1st and 2nd. The latter date will feature Lady Gaga. Ono will also take center stage at an event called American Express Presents an Evening with Yoko Ono at the Grammy Museum on October 3rd.
On November 2nd, the Hard Rock Cafe Hollywood Boulevard will host a benefit concert featuring artists covering Lennon's music.
