VIDEO: Jamey Johnson - ''Playing the Part''

Watch Jamey Johnson's music video for "Playing the Part" from his 25-song, double album The Guitar Song. The clip features and is directed by actor Matthew McConaughey who is good buddies with the singer-songwriter. The two met at the 2009 Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas where Jamey took home the trophy for Song of the Year for "In Color."

As far as the video goes, McConaughey warned Johnson that the clip would be pretty "carney" which was just fine with Jamey who told the first-time music video director to "get as carney as you want." Matthew explains, "Jamey and this song both have a great sense of humor, so I wanted the video to have a 'wink' to it... This is a story with a beginning, middle and a surprise at the end. I started out with a 250-pound stripper leaving work in the morning, and ended up with a man in a gorilla suit getting fired from a used tire store."
