UFOs in New York City?

A mysterious incident in lower Manhattan has captured the nation's attendance, after scores, and perhaps thousands of people reportedly saw a number of hovering objects in the sky above Chelsea. While many were quick to assume that we were being watched by UFOs, the NYPD and other skeptics, who have no true explanation, observed that they were likely just a bunch of balloons.

News crews were quick to cover the story, as hordes of people gathered on street corners to crane their necks skyward for a glimpse of the shiny objects, which appeared to hover in place and vary in their visibility. One thing is for certain: there is no stopping them; the aliens will soon be here. And I for one welcome our new insect overlords... sorry, couldn't resist a little Kent Brockman tribute.
