It has been a pretty eventful year for rocker Bret Michaels as he not only conquered his fellow celebs to become the Celebrity Apprentice, but also bounced back from the brink of death as he battled health problems.

We all know and love him for his hard-rockin' ways, and in his new VH1 reality show Life As I Know It, fans will get to know the softer side of Bret as he takes them behind-the-scenes of his personal life with his family as well as his music career. Life As I Know It premieres on Monday, October 18th at 10 PM/ET on VH1.
