Paranormal Activity 2 Debuts, Hereafter Expands Nationwide

Here's a look at the movies that are new to theaters this weekend:

* Paranormal Activity 2 -- In the sequel to last year's surprise hit, a family is haunted in their own home. Katie Featherston stars. Rated R. Check out more scary flicks in The 15.

* Hereafter -- The film, which is expanding into wide release, ties together the stories of three people -- an American psychic, a French journalist and a London schoolboy -- who have all been touched in some way by a death-related experience. Matt Damon, Bryce Dallas Howard and Jay Mohr star in the Clint Eastwood-directed movie. Rated PG-13.
