Anberlin's Name Inspired by a Porn Star?

Anberlin have many origin stories at the ready when it comes to where they got their band name: a trip to Europe, a song by Radiohead, a Yanni cover band.  But could it have been inspired by a porn star?  Singer Stephen Christian says that at a show in south Florida, when a roadie learned the band's name, he presented them with DVDs of adult film actress Amber Lynn.  Christian said the band freaked out when the roadie played the DVDs: "We were like 'What is happening?  What are you doing?'"  In reality, the band's name wasn't inspired by the adult actress -- meaning its origin remains shrouded in mystery. 

Anberlin are currently touring throughout North America with a show on Tuesday night in Toronto, Ontario.  All the tour dates can be seen at their official website.
