Train's "Golden Gate" Edition of CD Includes New Christmas Coke Jingle, Cover of Rihanna Tune
Train is reissuing their current album Save Me, San Francisco on November 2nd with a bunch of new tracks, including "Shake Up Christmas," the song the band has recorded for Coca-Cola's new holiday campaign.
The song, for which the band just shot a video, is featured in a new Coke ad called "Snow Globe," which shows how people find happiness in simple moments by connecting with family and friends during the holiday. In a statement, Train singer Pat Monahan, who wrote the track, said, "The song...is inspired by childhood memories of...sharing the happiness and hope that the season brings. Having it be part of the campaign is a wonderful way to share that sentiment with a bigger audience."
The reissue of the album, called the "Golden Gate Edition," also features a cover of Rihanna's smash hit "Umbrella," plus new mixes of the songs "Marry Me" and "Parachute," as well as two rare tracks -- "Half Moon Bay" and "The Finish Line."
