Rally Signs from the Rally to Restore Sanity

Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert were in the nation's capitol this weekend for their Rally to Restore Sanity And/Or Fear, and their followers came out by the thousands. Estimates of the crowd ranged from 200,000 to upwards of a quarter of a million people. Organized as a gathering of moderates and rational citizens, the Comedy Central hosts' fans were treated to a lively event that featured pseudo-political comedy, guest appearances and musical acts.

The crowd did their part however, with Halloween costumes and a wide array of clever, often hysterical signs. Check out some of the best from the day below.
