New Megadeth Album May Be Recorded Next Year, Says Drummer

Megadeth fans may not have to wait long for a new album from the thrash metal legends.  Drummer Shawn Drover tells Crypt magazine the band are "starting to discuss our game plan for next year, and I envision next year we’ll be recording a new record."

He added that "things are going really well for us right now, and we’re just seizing every opportunity that we can."  Drover also touched on the possibility of Big Four of Thrash shows in North America.  He hopes that "we’ll be able to do it next year, or whenever that’s gonna be. But right now, we really don’t know."  Drover also said that there's "talk" of something happening but nothing has been confirmed.

Megadeth have one more show in North America, on November 6th in Phoenix, Arizona.  Afterward, they'll travel to Australia and New Zealand for six shows throughout December.
