The Decemberists Releasing New Album on January 18th

A new album from The Decemberists entitled The King Is Dead will be released on January 18th.  Ten tracks will appear on the album and will feature R.E.M. guitarist Peter Buck on three of the songs. 

You can pre-order the album at the band's website starting November 22nd.  This album follows up their 2009 release, The Hazards of Love.  The band will appear on an episode of Conan November 18th where they'll play their new song, "Down By The Water."
