The Strokes New Album Is Finally Finished, Says Casablancas

The Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas posted at his Twitter account that the band's new album is "still not going to be out for a few months-mixing, etc, but JUST finally finished it."  This news comes after many rumored release dates, including September of 2010, January of 2011 and March of 2011. 

There's still no official release date yet but a spring showing now seems to be the most plausible.  The Strokes played a few festivals this past summer, including Lollapalooza in Chicago and the Isle of Wight festival in the UK.
