Tangled, Burlesque Among Movies Opening
Before you feast on turkey and dressing this Thanksgiving holiday, you can head to your local theater to see one of four new films opening nationwide. Here's a look at the movies debuting Wednesday, November 24th:
* Tangled -- In Disney's latest animated film, which is being presented in 3D, the long-haired Rapunzel takes a thief named Flynn Ryder hostage when he arrives at the tower where she's being held. Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi lend their voices to the main characters. Rated PG.
* Burlesque -- Christina Aguilera is a waitress at a burlesque club who becomes an unlikely singing star there. Cher, Stanley Tucci, Kristen Bell, Julianne Hough, Eric Dane and Alan Cumming also star. Rated PG-13.
* Love and Other Drugs -- Anne Hathaway's Maggie, who's suffering from the early stages of Parkinson's disease, falls for a Viagra salesman, Jamie, played by Jake Gyllenhaal. The film is set around the time that the male enhancement drug first hit the market. Rated R.
* Faster -- Dwayne Johnson stars as a character named Driver, who was imprisoned for a bank robbery and now seeks revenge for the murder of his brother during that crime. Billy Bob Thornton and Carla Gugino also star. Rated R.
And opening in limited release Friday, November 26th:
* The King's Speech -- King George VI of England bonds with the speech therapist who helps him cope with his stuttering problem. Colin Firth and Geoffrey Rush star. Rated R.
