After making herself known on the music scene with Pieces of You, one of the biggest selling debut albums ever, and scoring hits with "You Were Meant for Me" and "Who Will Save Your Soul?," Jewel decided to take her songwriting gift and share it with the country audience.  In 2008, she released her first completely country album Perfectly Clear and made it crystal clear that she was committed to the genre. The singer-songwriter followed up that project with her Sweet & Wild album.
