Bruce Springsteen - The Promise: The Darkness On The Edge Of Town Story

At long last, fans can pick up the sprawling new retrospective package of one of Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band's most beloved albums. The Promise: The Darkness On The Edge Of Town Story is a 3-disc, 3-DVD set that features a remastered cut of the original album as well as tons of extra content and rare live performances. The new set is a great addition to the Springsteen catalog, as it lends a new perspective to his classic album. Click here for more on The Promise, plus The Boss's thoughts on the new set.

Kid Rock - Born Free

Kid Rock's latest effort is a sleek, Rick Rubin-produced album that features much of the Detroit native's trademark attitude, although in many ways it is far more mature than anything Kid Rock has ever done. Nowhere can Rock be found rapping; gone are the crunchy metal guitar riffs. Instead, Rock relies on collaborations with guests including Bob Seger, Sheryl Crow, Zac Brown, T.I, Martina McBride, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith and more to propel this remarkably earnest record.

Jimi Hendrix - West Coast Seattle Boy - The Jimi Hendrix Anthology

While most anthologies simply retread old material, most of the songs featured on the latest addition to the Hendrix catalog have never been released. With old demos recorded during the guitar legend's stint as an R&B; session player to alternate takes laid down after he had achieved superstardom, West Coast Seattle Boy offers a wholly new look at one of the most scintillating figures in rock history.
