Chevelle to Release "Hats Off to the Bull," Appear on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!"

Epic RecordsIt’s been two years since we’ve gotten any new music from Chevelle and now the wait is over.  The band announced that it will release its sixth studio album, Hats Off to the Bull, on December 6.  

The album's first single, "Face to the Floor," is currently the most added record at Active and Alternative Rock radio.  "It's an angry song," revealed frontman Pete Loeffler in a statement.  "The lyrics are about all the people who have been taken advantage of.  I reference Bernie Madoff and his Ponzi scheme.  He raked people over the coals, stole and is a terrible person.  One day, these people have everything, and the next day it's completely gone."

The band will give fans a taste of the new songs performed live when the group makes an appearance on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! on December 8.  Hats Off to the Bull is now available for pre-order on the band’s official website and on iTunes.
