MICHAEL JACKSON

The late King of Pop poses with producer Quincy Jones in 1984. Still riding high off the monumental success of Thriller, Jackson won in every category for which he was nominated, including Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Producer of the Year, Best R&B; Song (for "Billie Jean"), and Best Recording for Children (for "Someone in the Dark"). Jackson even picked up Best Male Vocal Performance honors in each of the Pop, R&B; and Rock categories, for "Thriller", "Billie Jean" and "Beat It" respectively. A tribute is planned for the upcoming Grammy Ceremony.
