David Allan Coe was bad from the beginning.  From the age of nine, he was in and out of reform schools and correctional facilities.  He was rumored to have taught Charles Manson to play guitar.  DAC is best loved for his hits "The Ride" and the so-called 'perfect country and western song" "You Never Even Called Me By My Name."  Would you mess with him?
