Through her husband John McBride, Martina McBride scored a pretty sweet gig selling merchandise for Garth Brooks while he was on tour.  Garth was so impressed by Martina's work ethic that when her husband mentioned she was a singer, Brooks offered her the opening slot on his tour before he even heard her.
