Melissa Etheridge

Etheridge has long been an activist for gay rights, though after surviving a battle with breast cancer she became an outspoken voice for breast cancer awareness as well. She has since become a vocal critic of California's ban on gay marriage, and has shown support for medicinal marijuana.
