Modest Mouse

Though their breakthrough into the mainstream didn't come until 2004 with the hit song "Float On," Modest Mouse was actually formed eleven years earlier in a Seattle suburb. Sad Sappy Sucker, what would have been their 1994 debut album, was shelved and not released until after they'd found a widescale audience. Throughout their early years, the band was forced to pay their dues in tiny clubs and DIY venues.
