Charley Pride

In the midst of his emerging career in baseball, Charley Pride found himself drafted into the U.S. Army for a two-year period. After his time in the military ended, Charley resumed playing baseball for a short time then shifted his focus towards music in the mid-1960s and made his legendary mark.
