Canadian singer-songwriter Shania Twain burst onto the country scene with 1993's The Woman in Me, the follow-up to her self-titled debut album. But, it was 1997's Come On Over that made Shania into a worldwide country-pop phenomenon. Her albums became best-sellers, seemingly breezing past previous record-holders. Meanwhile, Shania became the first woman to win CMA Entertainer of the Year since Reba McEntire's win in 1986. The superstar went on to create her own fragrance line in 2005 with Shania by Stetson and Shania Starlight and is set to host her own television show next year on Oprah Winfrey's new television network all the while country fans eagerly await new music.
