Dixie Chicks

Although the Dixie Chicks are some of the most famous country stars of this generation, they landed in hot water by speaking out against the Bush administration several years ago.  The public took their criticism as a hit on the troops and not the President himself.  Although they have had some success since then, it is unclear if they will ever top the success they achieved pre-Bush controversy.
