Trapt - No Apologies

California rockers Trapt dish out their fourth album this week with No Apologies. The disc marks a stylistic return to the band's earlier hits, with their social message enhanced by a powerful rock assault. Featuring 11 tracks, No Apologies was produced by Johnny K., with the first single, "Sound Off," hitting airwaves earlier this summer.

The Orb featuring David Gilmour - Metallic Spheres

This week British electronic group The Orb releases Metallic Spheres, a new effort featuring Pink Floyd's David Gilmour. The famed rock guitarist makes an ideal fit for the disc, which features just two songs nearly half an hour long each. Gilmour's guitars compliment the ambient textures hewn here, and should prove a welcome digression for curious fans

Belle & Sebastian - Write About Love

Their first project after reconvening following a five-year hiatus, Scottish rockers Belle & Sebastian are back with Write About Love. Already receiving rave reviews, the disc is the group's 2nd collaboration with producer Tony Hoffer, who worked with the band on their 2006 album The Life Pursuit. Additionally, the album offers duets with Norah Jones as well as actress Carey Mulligan.
