WATCH: Springsteen Whips Up Duet With Fallon

Bruce Springsteen paid a visit to Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to promote his latest box set, The Promise: The Darkness On The Edge Of Town Story, but fans got more than the usual palaver. Fallon, showcasing the musical talent that made him such a success as the host of the Emmy Awards back in August, took to the stage in full Neil Young getup for a song. Lazily strumming a guitar, Fallon's impersonation was spot on, and could nearly have been mistaken for the real thing, had he not been covering upstart pop star Willow Smith's "Whip My Hair."

Toward the end, Springsteen came out with a beret and fake beard, offering his backup vocals to the affair. It's not clear whether The Boss was tring to imitate a younger version of himself or... Che Guevara, but it was an amusing bit, and a refreshing change from the usual scripted late night interview.

Watch it below.
