Bob Geldof
The Boomtown Rats singer is one of the rock world's biggest activists. He was instrumental in creating the Live Aid concert in 1985 as well as the Live 8 events twenty years later. The coordinated concerts helped raise money for famine relief in Africa. Geldof, who has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, also serves as an advisor to the ONE campaign.
